Limescale: the Ibiza pool problem
Ibiza water is very hard. With sun and evaporation the scale builds up on the waterline and the tiles, leaving a white or grey band a normal brush won't shift. A deep clean removes it with specific products that don't damage the finish.
To stop it coming back, the simplest option is weekly maintenance, which keeps pH in check so scale doesn't build up.
FAQ
Does the pool need draining?
Almost never. Cleaning is done with the pool full. It's only drained if the shell needs repair or the scale is very heavy, and the technician will assess that.
How long does it take?
A normal private pool is usually done in a morning. If the water is green it has to be recovered first, which can take a few days.
Can I book a single clean without a contract?
Yes. A deep clean is a one-off service and doesn't commit you to maintenance.
