Sant Joan is the island's most rural municipality: scattered countryside houses, dirt tracks and fincas several kilometres from the nearest village. Many companies avoid travelling up here, so finding someone to look after the pool can be hard.

The northern tramontana wind blows leaves, soil and branches into the water. And since many houses are filled by water truck, a leak or spoiled water is especially costly. Visits here are planned in routes so travel doesn't push up the price.
